Created and hosted by Milinda Moragoda and aired on Sirisa Television, Obey Vedikawa-Face the Nation was a series of televised discussions. Most of the shows highlighted problems faced by different groups of people affected by the war , to help raise awareness among viewers of the human face and complexities of the conflict. In total, there were ten programmes in the Face the Nation series. Among groups met were relatives of missing service personnel, residents of the war affected areas of the North and East, including Jaffna and Trincomalee, disabled war veterans, Muslim university students from the Southeastern University in Oluvil, members of the security forces stationed in Jaffna, and residents of Southern towns.
